# tikzphysics 1.7.0 release verification

Prepared on 2026-09-30.

- All 15 regression suites pass; 121 generated references and the single-file
  runtime pass freshness checks. Native styling is verified at emitted strokes.
- All 57 example documents compile against the checkout, producing 154 pages.
- All 57 thermo/thermal/element invalid-input cases reject with intended errors.
- Seventeen current module gallery pages were visually inspected, are monochrome
  and match split/bundled runtime raster output byte for byte at 72 dpi.
- Selective elements/thermodynamics/thermalphysics/heattransfer loading passes.
- Nine isolated Overleaf documents plus explicit library requests compile with
  an empty user TeX tree and no split physics libraries in the recorders.
- The 91-page manual was rebuilt. Element and thermal sections and the version
  cover were rendered and inspected; its final log has no overfull boxes or
  TeX errors. Seven affected legacy gallery PDFs were refreshed as well.
- The Overleaf ZIP contains 20 source/runtime/guide files; all archived contents
  match their current source files and the ZIP passes its integrity check.

Validation and compile evidence: `tmp/release-1.7.0/`. Module-specific reports:
`verification-elements.md`, `verification-thermodynamics.md`, and
`verification-thermalphysics.md`. CTAN upload receipt and archive SHA-256 will
be recorded separately; publication, TeX Live and Overleaf distribution are
independent states.
