If you look at the program, you'll see that you won't be missing
much, and I don't think the authoring guide will attract much attention
as the people at these events tend to be MS refugees and very much the
business crowd rather than developers.

I have heard a rumour Stephen Tweedie may be there as may several
other kernel developers, but these people already know who we are.

I've put the HOWTO^2 on my laptop should the need arise to print it.
